In the poverty-stricken country of Laos, a sustainable source of income is rarely available for village women. Many are faced with the choice of raising their families in destitution or leaving their children and going to a big city in search of employment. CAMACrafts strives to strengthen village families by providing an income through the sale of handcrafted products. For some of these Hmong and Lao women it is the only money their family will earn; money that will be spent on food, medicine, and schooling for their children.
